North East Markets
North East Markets has evolved from an event management company specialising in North East Markets and Fairs to a Consultancy specialising in placing market traders, and food and drink into locally organised events. Dawn Hodgkins and Margaret Dunne have extensive project and event management experience in their own right and in 2012, joined together to form an event management company.
North East Markets first ever event was the hugely successful Team Valley Christmas Market in December 2012. With 115 tradersselling high quality food, drink, crafts and gifts, catering, entertainment and of course Santa Claus, the market proved hugely successful with over 25,000 attendees. The company has since gone on to deliver over 50 events. However with a changing market we have decided to specialise in the area we know best. We will still continue to deliver the Gateshead Christmas Village, the replacement for the Team Valley Christmas Market but most of our other work will involve working with local events organisers to complement their event.
With a large contact base of high quality traders, caterers and entertainers, NE Markets ensure that their markets are the best of their kind. Having worked closely with local councils and relevant organisations to ensure that every event was delivered safely, we can also advise on other aspects of event management, e.g. marketing, Safety requirements, etc.
